The tradition of hunting in North America possesses as much history as our great country itself.  Yet every year hunters abroad are faced with challenges to preserve not only our rights to hunt but the right to own and purchase guns and hunting equipment.  The only good answer to maintaining this freedom is education.  All of us in the professional hunting business understand and promote taking new and young hunters to the field as much as possible, but there is so much more we can do.

My son and I founded Pure Adrenaline in 1999 on the premise of taking new hunters out both young and old.  We have taken it a step further by filming and putting some of these hunts in our videos.  Sure there will be criticism for showing a doe whitetail hunt or a cow elk hunt, but the new hunters who are doing this find this adrenaline rush as powerful as a seasoned hunter shooting a State or World record.  After all, if these animals need to be harvested according to our game management officials, then why just let a chance like that go to waste?

When I started Pure Adrenaline it was a tough job just getting started with equipment, websites and editing equipment.  I knew from day one I wanted to do this in a joint effort with my Son Brandon.  I never knew what it could turn into.  Hunting with your son or daughter is one of the most life enriching events that any grown man can do.  I was blessed with a wife that hunted as well.  Until the lord decided to take her from this world to live with him we traveled as a family to hunt many animals from Elk to Ruffed Grouse and Rabbits.  We had as many hunts that we came home empty handed as we did successful hunts let me tell you.  But each experience was full of memories that we now know are more precious than any trophy we could have harvested.

Brandon and I share the love of taking new people into the outdoors to hunt for the first time or maybe to hunt something new to them for the first time.  Yeah, lets face it, there are a lot of hunters who have never had the opportunity to travel beyond their “back 40” as we sometimes refer to our native and very familiar hunting spots.  We had the opportunity to take some very mature men hunting out west for Elk.  They had never left the great State of Wisconsin and found the scenery completely amazing.  Some were successful enough to bag a new species for their memoirs and some were just enriched by the new experience and are thankful even though they did not fill a tag.

My drive to share the outdoors with as many new people as possible is more important than adding to my trophy room and my son shares the same attitude.  His hunting ethic and unselfish morals have taught me some new lessons as well.  So it is only fitting that he helps to round out the perfect combination for Pure Adrenaline.  Brandon is our liaison for youth hunters while my daughter Brittany is coming along quickly to help with our women and young ladies out there.

Brittany has proven time and time again that it is possible to have great nails and hair and look great everyday and then in one moment, transform into a scent free, camo clad hunter.  Those manicured nails have field dressed many animals and helped process our game for the dinner table.  So one day she too will join the quest we are about to embark on.

Obviously in hunting with new hunters there has to be some adventure beyond this to keep your interest and make you crave the next video.  So Brandon and I have announced the latest reality show, but you won’t find it on your local station . . .yet.  In addition, to our everyday videos showing great hunts and new hunters we have added a couple things. First, our trademark breakdown of the cost of the hunt will now include GPS coordinates within 5 miles of the kill and we have a very exciting new adventure for you to follow along.

We are pursuing the first ever Father & Son, fully video documented, Super Slam.  That is right; Brandon and I are going after all 28 North American Game animals to fill the super slam chart not just once but twice.  Each of us will harvest all 28 species. We have chosen to each use the exact same gun for every animal on their individual Super Slam. We each have chosen the Browning White Gold Medallion 7mm Magnum, with a Nikon Scope and Winchester Ammo to complete each of our checklists. We have matching RMEF edition Rifles that you can easily identify in any video. When you see this gun being used, you will know you are watching a super slam hunt.   Every time we add a new species to either of our check lists you will be able to see it on video, and on our website.  Team Pure Adrenaline will show you the ultimate father & son hunting adventures over the next years and each animal will be mounted and placed in our traveling museum.  So watch for us at local sport shows.

Even though this quest will keep us very busy, we still look forward to taking new people hunting and will enjoy working with our Pure Adrenaline Kids program.  Follow along as we show you how much fun it is to hunt with your child or parent.  For those of you who do not have kids to hunt with…by all means take a kid from your neighborhood or someone new any chance you get.  Any animal you harvest like this we want to see.  Take photos and write us a small article about the hunt and we will put it in our gallery and in our traveling museum for everyone to enjoy.  On our website you will be able to rate the hunts based on quality, your rating of the trophy taken and many other items as Brandon and I keep a record of our followers opinions.  Earning votes for each of us will determine who will accompany our hunt winners on draw hunts we take them on.

All of the professional hunters out there promote the spread of knowledge to new hunters.  All of us who hunt are ambassadors for the sport.  Every time we introduce a new hunter to the sport and show them the truth we leave our mark and story.  Even if that new hunter never returns to the woods in that aspect they leave with an understanding of the sport.  Most of the opposition to hunting is fanned by the lack of knowledge of the truth that non hunters have.  There is so much more to any hunting or fishing trip than the filing of a tag or bag limit.  We hope to see all of you in the great outdoors and we hope you will share your great pastime with someone new as often as you can.  Good luck to all of you and remember to follow along on our quest.
