Joy Eger

Joy Eger, member of the Pure Adrenaline Fishing and Hunting and Videographer Teams, passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2005.

Joy was the beloved wife of Patrick Egerand loving mother of Brandon and Brittany Eger. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I have been hunting my family farm for many years with my dad and my wife. We practice management as best we can with the amount of public land around us. My Good friend and employee Jeff and I had seen this deer the year before and were both hunting hard for him this season (2006). Jeff hit him the night before but buck fever got the best of him and he shot a little high. Eventually the trail went cold and we thought he was gone for sure. The next night I caught him coming through my pines still with the doe he was with the night before. I brought him down with my New 10 point crossbow. I have taken many nice bucks on our farm but this is definitely the biggest and nicest animal I have ever harvested.

He was 20 pounds even, 9 1/2 inch beard with 1 1/4 inch spurs!
